Does TT ONE Version 2 use .OV2 for POI?

Hi,
I have a TomTom One Version 2. I've tried adding a .OV2 POI file to it, but I don't think that the TomTom is looking at this new file.

When I looked on the TomTom, it seemed that the 'original' POI file might be called poi.dat.

I did not see any .ov2 files on my TomTom originally - does that mean that I can't add a POI file to the Version 2 model of TomTom One?

Or do I need to do something in addition to copying the .ov2 file to the TomTom from my computer?

Thanks

user created poi files are indeed .ov2 files as in walmart.ov2

you copy them into the map folder of your tomtom. they will not show up unless in the map folder. usually a bitmap of the same name accompanies the .ov2. If you have no bitmap, tomtom assigns a generic red square as the icon.
