Confused by new maps

I bought a Tom Tom XXL 540 about 3 weeks ago.

I get an email today telling me there are new maps available.

I thought there was a 30 day map update. garuntee.

I go into Tom Tom Home and it says there aren't any new maps.

I try the link from the email and they want $99 US for the new maps.

What gives?

There is a 30 day guarantee. If you bought the unit within the last 30 days and have NOT upgraded the map that came with your unit yet, then call support at 866-486-6866. Do not wait any longer.

As you know, the 845 map came out yesterday.
