Clean install

Hi guys.
Since my ONE 3 ED. was acting funny a year ago i simply deleted all files on the device to make a clean install with HOME.
I was lazy and did not run the HOME update since i had a smartphone to use.
Today when i finally manage to update the device to 8010 i notice that i have no maps. HOME even makes an notification that there's no update available.
So where can i find the default maps?

Did you make a backup? Hopefully with Explorer, not Home?

If not, was the map on your unit the one that came with the unit or an upgraded one at some point? If the latter, perhaps you can recover it.

If not, be prepared to pay $$$$$ to purchase a new map.

Connect your unit to Home, go to Manage My Device, (2nd page, purple folder), Device tab, does it make any mention of a map?

Now, go to Computer tab, anything listed there for the Maps category??

@Injen
What you suggested is something that is not permitted here.

Ofc i know that it's not permitted here. But if TomTom is so stupid not to be able to supply default maps, what else can i do?

I'm not the one wondering where MY maps are, mate. I saw you said you made a backup, but you apparently did not recently........

Anyway, what's done is done .........
