Can you add an intermediate stop?

Can you add an intermediate stop when you have a route planned on the unit? For example, we're cruising down the highway and then want to make a run to <insert_store_here> on the way hat will require us to exit off the interstate. Can I add the stop as an intermediate point?

Also, can I do multi-stop routes on the unit itself without using Home?

You don't say what model you have but the Go models and a few others can use itineraries (which allow for 48 waypoints/itinerary).

Other models can input 1 stop (once route is planned, use Travel By and carry on from there).

On the GO series, (dhn is correct about the Itinerary function) yes, you can do this.

As you are traveling your route, hit the Nav Status (lower right corner of the display), and then select Find Alternative, and then Travel Via. You can then enter a POI, etc.

Doing so will input your intermediate stop prior to your final destination, thus allowing you to deviate from your original route, make your stop, and then continue navigating as previously planned once your stop is complete.

For more than one stop, you must use TRYE on your computer, or Intinerary Planning on the unit itself (or computer).
