Can I download the newest firmware and NOT install it?

I would not mind having a copy of the newest firmware on my computer but after reading about things it might break or UNfix, I don't think I want it on my 920 just yet. So I wonder if it can be downloaded but NOT installed - I don't want automation to take away my choices in this matter.

Yes, you can download it to your computer and never install it.

I guess I left out the second question - how? I don't want to have to monitor the download process and intercept it to stop the install. So is it a definite two-step process. Download ONLY. Then an install process separate?

I can't remember if it's automatic. I think when you click update, just leave the firmware unchecked.
