backup favorits?

is there anyway to backup my favs

i just went to the new map pack and it basicly wiped out all my settings. Im about to do my wife's but i dont want to lose all her favs

In your map folder is a file called mapsettings.cfg

this is the favorites file. you should make a backup of your tomtom every time you make a change. do that with your wife's machine before installing the new map and then just copy the mapsettings file back onto her unit.

if you happen to have a backup of your unit prior to the new map, you can do the same.
