I've got the I-Phone 4 and recently purchased tomtom for it. The navigation seems to be working nicely but I can hardly hear the turn by turn directions. I have a handsfree bluetooth device in my vehicle that works great with the I-Phone. I'd like for the tomtom voice to be heard through the bluetooth speaker. Is this possible?

It is possible, but the bluetooth kit needs to support A2DP. The instructions are sent out the same way as normal audio from the phone, and so that means: headphone port, aux port, or A2DP.

Have a read through my post in This Thread covering a device I use for Bluetooth audio in the car - Works a treat with the TomTom stand alone devices as well as the iPhone - I still consider this the best in car gadget I have purchased in the last 18 months or so - Works everytime and even puts the phone audio through the car speakers, the iO-Play supports the Hands Free AND A2DP Bluetooth protocols at the same time so you can even have two devices connected at the same time (one for each mode) - Mike
