Having found I can't copy my SD card to get some more room, can I safely delete and add things to the map folder like speedcams/POI's and also delete the voices I don't want/need?

Yes, but first try to copy 1 to 2 via the device as just replied to your first post.

Seems that this device will only work with TomTom supplied SD cards! If I want to download and use another map for instance, I have to buy the card from them first
