910, Ipod & Line Out

I got a reconditioned 910 for Christmas. Its great and I've just got the Ipod lead to go with it. All works fine except that when the Ipod's connected the music (and directions) now come out of the TomTom rather than the line out to my car's stereo. This seems wierd, I've set the menu up to go to the line out but it doesn't make any differecne (if I disconect the Ipod then directions go back to line out).

Looks like this was a problem a while ago - have I missd a fix somewhere ?
