720 pairing

I recently changed the battery on the 720 and everything went well with it. I must have done an update prior to the change and never backed up the unit. I found that I lost my favorites and phones connections after either the battery change or update;not sure. I contacted support and they had me clear memory and had me do other things to no avail. I am worried about the phone connection pairing where it recognized the sprint hero and it now doesn't pick up any phone. I feel that it could be a corrupted file and will like to remove and reinstall. Could use some help on this.

Can the TomTom see the mobile phone when you try to pair it? I have known the Bluetooth in a 720 to get damaged when removing a battery as some of the PCB tracks under the battery are for the BT - Mike

It wasn't a problem of my creation, rather someone who pulled the battery from the PCB which resulted in no Bluetooth capability afterwards, it was a forum post either on here or the PGPSW forum, end result is if the PCB tracks get damaged then its not viable to repair, get a handsfree kit for your phone and don't bother using Bluetooth on the nav unit - Mike
