720 newbie near Memphis TN

Hi everyone. Got my 720 about 4 weeks ago. Have taken day trips (100 or so miles) each Saturday since. Still not completely comfortable using it and found the manual lacking. Hope to get some good info in this forum.

My county is 58th in the nation in growth. Everywhere I look, there are new subdivisions (and roads) popping up. Most of the newer roads are not on TomToms maps. Is it possible for me to add roads? If so, is there a site that gives me detailed instruction?
