630 go

hi i have 630 go and updated the map and lost everything can anyone tell how i can get things back
i did not back the device up on my computer

How did you lose everything? What makes you say that? And since the 630 was never meant to be used in your country, how did you come about having one?

Did you download the updated map? If so, you'll find it here:
C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\complete\maps\

When you look at the contents of the unit using Explorer, what do you see? Do you see a specific map folder with lots of files in it? Do you see other folders?

Do you see the downloaded map in the location I pointed to?
