I understand that there is an 800MB version of the North America maps and a larger version (1.3GB?). When I go to purchase a map in TomTom Home, I only see an option to purchase the 800MB version. Once I upgrade to a 2GB SD card, will I see an option to purchase the larger map? What are the differences between the two versions?
TomTom is currently running a 1/2 price special on their maps. I am hoping TomTom will open their US map store with US prices instead of having to purchase in Euros. I thought maybe the prices would be a little lower once they are dollar-denominated (maybe wishful thinking). Does anyone know when the US map store is scheduled to re-open?
