If you want to compare apples to apples, you have to make clear WHAT map and version you have (since mapshares are associated with specific maps) as well as what settings you've made in TomTom home regarding mapshare preferences in terms of who you want to receive mapshare changes from. For example, if two people are using the same map but one only wants mapshares from 'TomTom verified' while the other has chosen to receive changes from all the options available, the latter person stands to reason to have a higher number of changes.

On your unit, goto page 2 (not page 2 of preferences). Click the map correction icon. Then, Correction preferences, on the next page select your choices and click 'done' on the various screens to get back out.
