2GB SD Card

I have a TT 510 and I live in the USA.
DO I need a 2GB sd card for future Map up dates ? I keep seeing treads here about users going to a 2GB card.
I'm still using the the card that came with the TT and I'm up to version 7.116 or something like that not sure as I'm not plugged in to my TT now so I'm going from memory.
TT HOME2 reports that I have the latest maps.
What would be the reason to go to a 2GB card if not for map storage?

if you dont plan on adding a lot of voices and 3rd party ware you shouldnt have to worry about it.tt keeps maps under a gig from what i understand.but if you wanted 2 maps and like i said a lot of add-ons then you would need bigger sandick card.also they tell you you have the latest map that came installed on your unit.maybe not the newest available.
