Are there advantages to a 2gb SD card in TT510

I have a new 510 which I purchased about three month's ago. What are the advantages to upgrading to a 2gb SD card as opposed to keeping the original 1gb card? If I do upgrade is there a special grade of SD I will require? I don't have any plans on traveling beyond the continental USA, so I have no need for additional maps.

I don't think you require the additional space unless you plan on adding many points of interest.
I have a 1GB card too and I'm happy with it. It has about 34MB free.
Just make sure you have back-ups on your computer.
