How do you load this thing up ?

Unzip all files and place in your schemes folder using Explorer. Then, in Preferences, change map colours, you should see both choices (day & night) to select them.

Is this only for specific devices? Like the scheme and would like to use it in my XL325SE.

If your meu options include Preference-->'Change Map Colors', then you can use it.
