    heres a zip code icon I modeled after the USPS icon, it works with the Zipcodes POI link in the above thread

    I like the icon. It looks like one of the orignal POI icons made by TT. Very nice.

    I don't understand why this would be helpful....maybe I am dense. What would a POI Zip Code be usefull for?

    Just kidding, I don't know myself - just repost it in OV2 format after finding it somewhere.

    Once I couldn't find a town (it's in the database under another name), use zipcode to center the map , and voila ...

    Im not sure if everyone knows this but, you can search using zip codes without a zip code POI.
    instead of enter a city/state, just enter the zip code!
