How to search without zip code

I'm finding it extremely frustrating, to the point it makes use of this TomTom Via 1605 totally ineffective. It will only allow me to put in the address for a route if I have the Zip code, which most often, I do not. Is there anyway to NAVIGATE to an address if I just have the street address and city, and NOT the zip code. Most often, I would not have that info.

Not sure why your 1605 behaves that way. My 1605 (and all my other Nav3 similar units) offers the option of looking in a city in addition to zip code.

When you select
Drive to
Address

doesn't your unit specify "City/Zip code:" on the top line? It should. Just start typing in the city or town name instead of hitting the number button and typing numbers.

thanks, I'll try that...I shifted from Garmin to TomTom, and I'm sort of frustrated now...so maybe it's more obvious than it appears Thank you.
