both me and my wife have tt 720 her unit is older than mine she uses her laptop
to sinc she has na maps 7.05 i havr na map7.10 can i sinc her tt to my back up
from my computer and down load na 7.10 maps to get vr to work on her tt .or do i have to purchase from tom tom another version

My understanding is that maps are tied to specific devices so that the sharing won't work. In other words, you may be able to restore your 7.10 map to her unit but it more than likely won't 'take'.

I suppose you could try it and, if it doesn't work, restore her 7.05 map (make sure IT is backed up) again.

kind of scary i guess if its not broke dont try to fix it i dont have much luck with electronic devices i will probly render her useless and have to give her mine.
may thats a good thing then i can get a newer one with na 7.15 maps

It will not work as the map is tied to the device. The meta file in the map only recognizes a specific device id.
