"Wait" or "Use Last Known Position" when planning a route

Every time I plan a route my XXL550 asks this question... isn't this what the "QuickFix GPS" is supposed to eliminate? Shouldn't it just "assume" that you are at "The Last Known Position"?

Anyone else experience this? My GO720 never had a problem with GPS Location... no matter how long it sat between use.

With no gps fix, newer applications will ask that question (raqther than 'waiting for a valid gps signal')
