waiting for valid GPS signal

Hello Tomtom forum! Everything on my via live 120 seems to work, but it is 'waiting for a valid GPS signal' and has been for about 2 weeks. It's a year old and has always worked well until now.

Can anyone help?

Did you get the manadatory application upgrade to rectify the problem?

I have the same problem and did go to the support page and did the update.....now all I get is "no maps found"

Is my tom tom dead???
