via1605 intermittent satellite connection

Recently my via 1605 has started to display intermittent satellite connection, a satellite update did not resolve the issue.
Any suggestions ?

Is the gps loss in the same place (same location on a road) or does it happen wherever you travel?

Thanks for the reply. Noticed it today around town, a 10 k trip, I then updated the gps fix and another trip through town, kept losing contact.

I wonder whether there may be a location that has a gps blocker nearby. Though illegal, they exist. Sometimes trucks do not want to be located by their companies. I'd continue to monitor the situation. By the way, out of curiosity, what town are you referring to?

Southern Georgian Bay trip today, about 150 km, still intermittent reception. I see the newer TomToms do not include traffic services except through smartphone bridging. Must change location to Wasaga Beach some day.
