Various 720 Issues

I have had a 720 for about one month. I have the following issues:

1) It will not work at all with an SD card inserted (it boots up, then dies). It is OK without an SD card.
2) If I switch maps (both on internal hard disk), it hangs temporarily, then dies, then reboots. This cannot be right.
3) The car icon will not change to what is selected. I can only get the blue arrow

Any similar experiences and/or suggestions?

Items two and three, there is definatly domething wrong. I can switch maps with no hangs and the car symbol changes for me. Did you download your latest map guarantee, that might fix the problems. AFTER contacting customer support, if they can't give you a fix I would do a couple of things. One is to "reset to factory settings" of course you would loose all you personal settings, POI's, favorites, home location and a few others unless you back up the unit first, and if that didn't work I would push reset on bottom of the unit. If this does not resolve the problem then I would take it back for an exchange. I have only had my unit for about 5 weeks so I can't think of any other suggestions.
