Urban rider pro.
Hi everyone.

Yesterday tried to update my rider urban pro on home.

As it was doing the back up to my computer the update froze and would not continue.

And now all I've got on the sat nav is a black screen with white writing on it.

The computer does not recognise the sat nav at all now .

I have tried everything from the forums but nothing works.

I might add it worked perfectly before I tried the update.

Phoned up customer services and they could not help only suggested I send it in for repair at the cost of £86.

Any help would be appreciated.

What you are seeing is what is referred to as the diagnostic screen of the device.

Try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds unless your model has a dedicated reset hole.

Reboot the computer. Reconnect the device. (use a usb port on the back, not the front of the computer if a desktop) See if it helps.

Already tried what you said nothing happens.
Couldn't hear a drum sound any way as it is blue tooth and has to be paired to my ear piece on my crash helmet which I can't do as the sat nav won't work.:mad:
