Unable to update Rider 400 and 550

Rider 400, Rider 550
This started with me wanting to update the 550. Previously it has updated fine over wifi. This time no luck. So I tried connecting to MyDrive connect to update it, again without any luck.

I have tried all recommendations shown in TomToms video "What can I do if my Traffic services are not working?". I keep getting "oops something went wrong...."

I have a valid subscription to maps and traffic services and they are shown as activated.
The devices are fully charged and connected to a power supply.
I have a gps signal.
Information sharing is on.
I have a connection to my broadbands wifi.
I have a connection to my phones bluetooth, tethering is on with a connection shown to my device.
I have tried a soft and full factory reset.
I have removed and re-installed MyDrive on my PC.

After failure with my 550 I thought I'd try the 400. This has to be connected to MyDrive to update. It connects without issue but then will not update, It just shows "getting ready" for an hour then says it's unable to connect to the server. "service unavailable". "We are having trouble accessing TomTom services".

I have contacted TomTom support without any success, so is there anone out there who can get please my devices going again?
