hi, not sure if you are aware, but the TTR2 comes with a cover.

The Rider 2 cover is not designed for on the bike use, only for off the bike.

I myself leave no part of the mount (except the hardwired power cord) on the bike once I shut down, so no need for an on the bike cover for me.

I cant really think of a reason to cover the unit myself. I remove it when not using the bike and lock in in my top trunk. Placing a cover over it isnt going to stop theft, and the TTR2 is fully waterproof, so not sure why you would need a cover. The supplied cover will fit on it when mounted if you really wanted to do that, although I dont think the cover itself is waterproof.
