tt 720 died?

After 2 week unuse my tt stil start but very, very slowly and it says that sd-card is bad, at computer windows find it wright( tomtom go 720) but tt home doesn`t find it, windows does find 2 drive but it doesn`t find them size or file system. It does seems to charge normally.

So looks like internal flash is bad? And most of all how to fix it?

Soft and hard reset didn`t help.

Have you an Explorer backup of the unit's contents?

Backup is made by tomtom home

Try to make an Explorer backup. Ensure hidden files/folders are showing. Then format the internal drive. Don't use quickformat. Finally, restore the backup you made with Explorer.

Windows doesn`t reconize the drivers size or type. So I can?t do anything about it.
Programs like PQMagic doesn`t find them at all.

Either your internal memory or hardware is probably bad.

First, try a different computer and different USB cable, to rule out everything except the Tomtom.

If the Tomtom is bad, try adding a blank SD card into the Tomtom, and see if windows can read/write dummy files to it.

If you can read/write to the SD, then have HOME restore your backup to the SD.
