Based on the symptoms you've described and the checks we've carried out, the issue appears to be related to the device's hardware. Since the battery is no longer able to maintain the required charge, our recommendation is to have the device repaired.

Please be assured that the purpose of the repair is to resolve the issue you are experiencing. Our repair technicians will fully diagnose the device, replace any faulty components as required, and thoroughly test it before it is returned to you. You can therefore be confident that the repair is intended to restore the device to proper working order. We do provide 6 months warranty after repair.

Also have connected android phone via Bluetooth to go superior XL and get this message, device is starting to be a bit of a brick which is disappointing as 4th unit since the go 300 quite a few years ago

any tips appreciated

Hi,

When your GPS is connected via the SIM card, does it receive traffic data?

Judging by your image, it looks like traffic information is still being displayed.
Look at the points and the red lines tracing them.

So, using your home Wi-Fi network.

In my opinion, the Bluetooth connection between your GPS and your phone isn't working properly.

Instead of using Bluetooth, try connecting your GPS to your phone's Wi-Fi.

Have you ever heard of a battery not holding charge disabling traffic? Last 3 units I’ve owned never had this issue

Own a go 5000 (receives traffic via Sim card) and a go essential (receives traffic via phone, same way as your tomtom) myself with lifetime traffic, and even if the battery was completely empty, simply being plugged in would already properly show and receive the traffic, additionally the battery on my go 5000 is showing signs of failing, and it still receives traffic just fine via 2G, though did you turn on Bluetooth tethering, or the equivalent on iOS?
