Hi I have an XL IQ Routes edition that won't charge, or take power when connected to an official TomTom car charger. It does know when its connected, if I set it to automatically turn off when NOT connected, it does so if I dis-connect it, but while its connected, it will not charge the battery. After a few hours of use, it simply quits as the battery is dead. I have an "official" TomTom home charger which will charge it up just fine, but not being able to charge the battery as I'm using it in the car is a serious flaw.
How can I fix this ?
I've tried several standard mini-usb chargers with it, and none will produce a "charging" indication in the car even though they will charge my Blackberry just fine....
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.
