My question is tomtom xl has setup for this or it works only whole number?

Thanks.

My problem is tomtom xl doesn't take after .(dot) for longitude and latitude in .sat file. It thinks that whole number.is it have setup for .sat file longitude and latitude.

Does your model have the ability to change the lat long data to a different type (like minutes, seconds?)

Tap the satellite bars and on the next screen tap the top right and you should get to a configuration screen for the lat/long data..........if it has that functionality.

It will not work with whole numbers. The format must include dd.ddddd five decimal places for each of the four corner coordinates. If necessary, always add zeros at the end (e.g., 42.00000).

There's a great online tool here that will allow you to create either a satellite or terrain map very quickly. You just zoom and center the Google map, right click and save the image of the map, and copy the text that it creates for you to your .sat file. Instant overlay map!

Link to Tool --> Map overlays Google Maps op TomTom
