I travel to Germany often and have Western Europe on my TTOne v2. It works great. The only hard part is finding the TomTom store open. Don't wait until the last minute, the store goes down for weeks at a time.

As posted elsewhere here, the LE is a ONE V2 with updated software. Therefore it does have an SD slot unlike the V3 and can handle additional maps.
