TomTom Home v1 vs v2

I was so disappointed when I updated my TT Home and went to v2 from v1. I am more experienced with computers and for some reason I like the setup in v1 a lot more. It just lays everything out there like I have more control and tweaking abilities.

Would it be a bad thing if I do not update to v2?

No it will not.
I have both 1.5 and 2 installed on my pc.

If you download new maps from TomTom, then you seem to have to have Home v2 in order for it all to work.

But I agree, for the day to day stuff of managing my unit, I like the v1 layout too.
