TomTom GO 720 problem: Turns off when in use

I have been having troubles with my TomTom GO 720. Each time that I use it, it wants to turn off when I'm driving. One moment it will display the road, and the next it will tell me that I have 10 seconds before it shuts down.

Each time that this has happened, the cig-lighter was working correctly and the device was fully charged.

Does anyone know how to prevent this from happening? I like the features of the product, but it has to stay on when it is supposed to...

Check your 'Battery saving' option, uncheck 'Turn off when losing power' or something like that.
