tomtom 7100 pro truck

Hi.. I`m from York in the UK.

Just got a tomtom 7100 pro truck sat nav... How do i add my own personal poi`s from my pc..? I can`t seem to connect to tomtom home... it only connects to mytomtom online for updates and the live services do not work either... anyone have any answers for me...

We do not have that model here in NA but I think you want to be using Home2, not MyHome as the pc application.

7100 is a Go-1000 with Truck maps and software installed so, sadly it does indeed need to use the Clud based "MyTomTom" You should be able to install Custom Third Party POI files to the device ASSUMING TomTom have released the update for the 7100 that enables custom POI files to be installed.

To check on whether this update is available for your device you will have to give TomTom a ring on 0845 161 0009 on Monday morning - Mike
