I bought my TT 125 in February 2009, and have used it as a beater GPS so far. It's not the best GPS, but it gets the job done.

Now I'm looking at getting the TT 140 to replace my TT 125. Is it a worthwhile upgrade? It's going to cost me around $72 or so to buy the TT140, roughly what I paid for the TT125 earlier this year.

I tried checking out video reviews of TT140 but there simply are not a whole lot of reviews out there.

The TT125's routes plain suck, I'm hoping the TT140's routes will be much better.

Any input here? Thanks in advance.

The 140 series allows for IQ routing and Advanced Lane guidance, two nice features not available on the low end 125 model. for about $20 more, you can move from a 140 to a 140S model, which has text to speech.

The 140 units also have many more built in pois than did the 125.

The routes in a 140 (because of IQroutes) will be a night and day improvement over a 125, likely giving better directions than you know yourself.
