Has anyone else seen the attached message when trying to get TT Home to operate their gps?

Been getting it for three days now and probably will contact TT Support in the am.

Thanks

dhn,

0xc0000374 is the key... usually indicates a "heap" (memory allocation of a sort) corruption.

That's not an uncommon message when running a non-64 bit application on a 64 bit machine. Should be uncommon, but ...

Try running the application in XP compatibility mode and see if that helps.

dhn, canderson,

Tried all your suggestions to no avail.

Will wait until TT gets back to me tomorrow.

Thanks for your help.

Couple more things you can try:

1) Close HOME, go to %appdata%, delete the Tomtom folder, and reopen HOME (you'll need to key in your password again)

2) Install the latest version of MS dotnet here (click "download" on the website).

To mvl, canderson, dhn,

Thank you all for your help. Sorry to say that none of the suggestions worked.

I have contacted TT Support and they offered the same suggestions, though somewhat later, and none of their's worked either.

I am waiting for another reply from them and will keep all posted as to the results.

UPDATE: Went and deleted Home using Revo Uninstaller in Advanced mode, downloaded and installed a fresh version of Home, performed all the steps required and VOILA, the error has disappeared.

Might want to keep this in mind for future problems involving Home.

Thanks everyone once again............
