tom tom 730 connect manually to optus

could someone please inform me how to connect my tom tom 730 manually to the optus 3g network so i can use my tom tom blue tooth and tom tom services i am useing a samsung 8300 mobile phone thank you

Set the phone as discoverable.

Then go to manage phones .> add phones (on the Tomtom).

Follow the steps when prompted. If Optus isn't on the carrier list, choose backberry.net as the APN, or internet. Beware that Optus may charge you per kb for PLUS services usage.
