Tips turn off Tom Tom One

I have Tom Tom One. I do not know if it is V1, V2, or V3. Sofeware is
8.010 and number on unit is N14644.
I want to keep map on and never see Tips.
How do I do this ?

Also, regardless of specific model, the device is End of Life meaning no updated maps are available.

Can't be sure if your particular model has this, but have a look:

Look for an option in the Preferences menu called "Hide Tips". It should have a red X through it. If it does, tap it and it'll change to "Show Tips" indicating that it is disabled.

No where on TT is there a "Hide Tips". I was hoping that
Someone knew how to turn off Tips. I have looked at
All settings and did not find a way to stop them.
Once a location has been programmed a Tip comes on
About every 60 seconds. Who at TT thought this was a
Good thing ?

My unit does not have a "Hide Tips" selection. I have viewed
All settings and see no way to turn off Tips.
After a location has been programmed and driving to, a
Tip will appear. Tips appear about every minute or two.
Why would TT ever think the user would want this.
And not give a way to turn off ?
