Street appears on map but is not recognized by the 'navigate to' menu

On my GO920 I have discovered two streets which appear on the TT map, but are not recognized by the 'navigate to' menu. Is there a way to rectify the problem?

My first thought is that maybe you're in a large parking lot and trying to navigate to either of those streets. TT only navigates on roads.

Or... if you're not trying to navigate to a 'point on the map', but entering an address, maybe the city or town you're entering is not exactly correct. I've had times when I thought I was entering the correct city but was forgetting something like 'W' for west as an example.

I agree with Rick F. It's probably a question of the name of the city/municipality that the street is listed under in the database.

Try this: using 'Browse map', zoom out a bit, just enough so that the name of the municipality shows up on the map. I'm sure that this is a database problem.

You could also try creating a POI in the middle of that street (i.e. located on the road, itself), then attempt to navigate to it.

Unless there is a reason for not wanting to,you could post the street name , co-ordinates ,map version ,software version and maybe a few others can check it on their units ?
