No street info on map

the names of approaching side roads disappear after 5 minutes of use they come back on when I toggle between 3D and 2D but only stay on for 5 minutes or so. This started after software upgrade on tom tom go
 
Please advise:
Which TomTom GO? What is the current version of software on your device?
