speed camara updates

downloaded speed camara up date the other night now speed camara alerts will not work

No idea what model you have, so not sure what menu to tell you to use. I'm assuming you can see the cameras on the map as you travel, but just can't hear an alert for them?

After downloading the update, it MAY be necessary to re-enable a specific sound to associate with the various camera types.

the model of my tomtom is the xl and no does not show the cameras as you get to them

Might be worth deleting the existing camera files and having Home offer them to you again.

From the unit, delete from inside your US_Canada (or US_Mex_Canada or similar) map folder, all files beginning with "Safety_Cam_US_Canada_TomTom". Should be 3 of them (*.ov2, *.dct and *.ver).

From your PC, delete from My Documents/TomTom/HOME/Download/complete/safetycamera all folders you find there.

Then disconnect and reconnect your device and allow Home to re-offer the safety camera data for you.
