Say the street name?

I just bought a TomTom XL 30 series. It does not say rthe street name. Is it supposed to? The clerk at the Radio Shack says this model does this. Was the clerk wrong?

There is a TomTom XL 330 and a TomXL 330S. The 's' notes text to speech.

Use Explorer to see the contents of your unit. Do you have a folder called Vocalizer? If so, you have the text to speech model. If not (unless there is a folder called Loquendo, which I doubt), you don't have the facility with that model.
