Remove Default POI's

Is there a way to delete the default POI categories? There are several that have no real utility here in the states (i.e. border crossings, embassies, etc.). Removing them from the list would streamline the process of finding categories I do use.

They don't appear in the list of POI categories when I go to "manage POI's". Am I missing something?

You're not missing anything, the unit will not allow you to delete the built-in POI's. The delete function is used for custom POI's that you install such as Baskin Robbins.

You can delete all of the built-in POI's, but not some of them. It's all or nothing!
