postcode trouble

why do`s my satnav only recognize the first 3digits of the postcode thnx for any help

Download this file:
http://download.tomtom.com/open/zipcode/910/great_britain.cab

and use WinRar to extract the contents into a FOLDER called zip in the root of your unit.

Are you sure you have a GO529T? I've never heard of that model.

The zip folder should be in the root of the unit along with other folders. If there isn't one, create a folder called zip using Windows Explorer.

No, you need to extract the contents of the cab file in the link in my previous post. WinRar is such a file extractor you can use.
