Points of Interest

Hi, I just got a Tomtom one xl-s a few days ago and I've had one major issue with it. It seemed that the points of interest were extremely limited. I'm not sure if that was because I don't know how to operate it properly or what but I couldn't find major places like the hospital, the university, a sports stadium, home depot, etc. Am I doing something wrong and is there a way to add a complete database of points of interest to the system? Thanks so much for your help.

Go here and download this poi database. should have everything you need.

unzip the two files and copy them to the map folder on your unit replacing the two files already there. Use a file manager to do the copy, not home.
