POINTS OF INTEREST

I have recently bought what I think is a Tom Tom 6000, the model that magnetically fixes to the suction pad mount. I am not sure whether I am using the unit correctly, but I have found that the data base for Points of Interest is far smaller than those of previous models. Is there another way of programing other than using the quick search in which you have to enter the complete address. I have been trying to enter the Hotel de la Frontiere in Frisange Luxembourg and I get the message * No point of interest found *. However, on older models, by going directly to the Points of Interest, then hotels, it comes up easily. On the new model it does not appear you can go to the P.O.I. in order to find a destination.

Can any one help please ?

Are you initially entering Frisange as the city to search in prior to entering 'Hotel de la Frontiere'?
