US voices work fine on my TT but UK voices say "unuseable voice". Tried switching language

Should work... I've got a French Homer Simpson (!) on my XL LIVE and a couple of Irish voices on my Go940 and they all work fine (without having to change language settings)
Similarly, my Go950 has got US, Australian and Chinese voices on it. They all work too.
Where did you get your voices from? Maybe they are just duff? (or are they TT original ones?)

By any chance have you relocated or removed any files from your GPS using a file manager like Explorer?
I know that it's a bit of a stretch, but if you have deleted or relocated some of the reference files for these voices, but kept the control file, I wonder if that could cause the behavior you are seeing.
