No traffic showing?

hi im totally new to go navigation on my android phone/android auto

i use to have a tomtom sat nav and it was great so i have signed up to the free trial and will be paying the £19.99 to continue subscription

i cant seem to see any traffic on my map? its just a blue line all the time?

am i doing something wrong??

Are you correctly connected to the Tomtom service with your login credentials.

Have you turned on traffic?
In the app, tap on the three lines bottom left. Then TomTom services, and make sure all the options are turned on.
Does this solve it?

No I'm not mate it says login bottom right still, I don't recall doing a login to I just need to create account?? I downloaded app then did subscription through play store

I believe it was due to not been logged into tomtom services like willy875 suggested above
