Hi everyone,

Plz I need some help, I have Tomtom One XL, I was downloading local Pakistan maps and due to less memory I deleted Europe maps.... although local maps were not successful but now I just see the screen " No Maps Found " even I can't go to main menu :(
What should I do plz suggest.

If you made a full backup of your unit at any time, or downloaded a full new map at any time, we can get your previous map reloaded for you.
However, it sounds like you'd rather have Pakistan. Can you describe what happened during the update attempt? Did the actual download of that map fail, or ???

Hi thank U for your feedback. In fact due to low memory I deleted the Europe map and started to download local maps, the local map file was still too large to extract so I cancelled the local downloading but..... but after that I even can't see the menu of my device... as I switched it On I can just see No Maps Found msg. So kindly help me in this regard, as I connect it to PC for Home application even then there is no change on the Tom's screen :(
Regards

You are asking for help but ignore to answer the crucially important question by canderson.

Did you ever make a full back up of your device, either with HOME or, preferably directly to a folder on your PC?

Indeed. If we can find a full version of any map anywhere on the PC, we should be able to get the unit running again.

Pardon, no dear I never had a backup in my PC that's why I am still not successful to download the maps again.

Well can you guys guide me to access the main menu of the device even if there are no maps in the device?

Make sure your device is fully charged, or connected to the PC, then make a Reset.

Did you download HOME from the TomTom web site and install it on PC, open it, connect your device and see what it shows?

On these older models that do not keep their inventory of available maps on the TomTom server, not having at least one copy of the map somewhere (even an old map update that you might have downloaded that we could help ou find) is the ONE PRIMARY thing we can't help you recover from. It is for that reason that we encourage such backups for all of our users of the older equipment.
